Privacy Policy for Aglo

Last updated: July 6, 2026

Aglo ("we," "us," or "the app") is a movement-reminder and micro-exercise app. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app does and does not handle, and your choices. We've designed Aglo to keep your data on your own device wherever possible.

The short version

Aglo is built to work without collecting your personal information. Your settings and activity are stored locally on your device, not on our servers. We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and we don't track you across other apps or websites.

Information stored on your device

To work, Aglo saves certain information locally on your device, including: your reminder preferences (such as how often you want to be reminded and your active hours); your selected activity level; and your daily and historical activity within the app (such as which exercises you've completed and your progress). This information stays on your device. It is not transmitted to us and is not stored on our servers. If you delete the app, this information is removed from your device.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, Aglo schedules local notifications on your device to prompt you to move. These notifications are generated and delivered entirely by your device. We do not operate a server that sends you notifications, and enabling notifications does not transmit any information to us. You can turn notifications on or off at any time in your device's system settings.

Information we do not collect

Aglo does not collect, store, or transmit to us: your name, email address, or contact details (unless you choose to email us for support); your precise location; health records or medical information; advertising identifiers; or analytics that identify you personally.

Health and motion data

Aglo's exercise tracking is based on what you log within the app itself. If a future version of Aglo offers optional integration with your device's health or fitness data (such as Apple Health), that integration will only occur with your explicit permission, the data will be used solely to provide the app's features on your device, and you will be able to revoke that permission at any time in your device settings. We will update this policy before introducing any such feature.

Third-party services

Aglo is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Those platforms may collect certain information (such as download and basic diagnostic data) under their own privacy policies, which we do not control. If we add any third-party services in the future (for example, crash reporting or analytics), we will update this policy to describe what they collect and why.

Children's privacy

Aglo is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will address it.

Your choices and rights

Because your information is stored on your own device: you can view and change your preferences at any time within the app; you can clear your in-app data using any reset option provided in the app's settings; and you can delete all app data by uninstalling Aglo from your device. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. Since we do not collect or hold your personal information on our servers, most such requests can be satisfied directly on your device as described above.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. If we make material changes, we will provide a more prominent notice within the app or on this page.
